This was a parade scene in front of the old Gem Theater which was located at approximately what is now the Lone Star Gas Co. offices here. Date of photo, provided by C. D. Pennybacker of Palestine, is not known.
Youngster at left in picture is Philip Ezell, who later moved to Houston and still resides there. Others in picture are not identified.
