Irish Drama Was Hit at Opera House
"My Geraldine," a "beautiful Irish drama in five acts," was on the boards at the Temple Opera House in Palestine on Tuesday night, April 21, 1908. It was presented by the Dion Boucicault Dramatic Club got the benefit of Sacred Heart Church. The "programme" included five selections by the Dion Boucicault Orchestra, "Yesterday," "Arrah Wanna," "I'm Surprised," "Napanee" and "Red Wing," under the .direction of R. E. Fulton (trombone). Stars were Milton Levit as "Phil Carrol" and Miss Mae Sweany as "Mary Carrol." The costumes, boots, wigs, etc., were furnished by Miller, costumer, Philadelphia. The "programme" was published by Trelford Printers.
